Paschen Saumell, MS, LPC-Associate
Paschen has been serving the community for the past 4 years, including experience in child welfare, trauma-informed care, grief, family, couples, and relationships, with clients ranging from ages 8 to 80 years old. Paschen currently accepts individual clients 10 and up, couples, and families. Paschen’s approach includes CBT, solution-focused, and person-centered. She strives to provide a safe space for her clients to share and facilitate growth and healing.
In 2019, Paschen graduated from Texas State University with her Bachelor's in Psychology and a minor in Sociology, and in 2022 graduated from Lamar University with her Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling. Paschen spent her time as a graduate student in 2022 as a counseling intern at Distinctive Counseling and joined the Distinctive Counseling team as an LPC Associate in April 2023. Paschen is currently under the supervision of Dr. Jinnelle V. Powell, LPC-S, EMDR Trainer and Consultant.
