Holly Humphrey, MS, LPC-Associate

Holly is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Texas. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University - Kingsville. She specializes in neurodivergence and is supervised by Elizabeth Barrientes, MS, LPC-Supervisor, Registered Play Therapist.

Holly has experience working with children for over 10 years. Six years was as a School Counselor at Windsor Park Elementary, working with Gifted & Talented and neurodivergent children. The other 4 years as a High School English Teacher and Middle School Math & Algebra Teacher.  Her experience prior to this with Child Protective Services gave her the goal of helping children in any capacity she could and understanding that a child’s well-being is shaped by their relationships at home, school and other places they frequent.

Holly would love to help you and your twice-exceptional child learn how to navigate life’s challenges in a therapeutic way.  She worked with children and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, peer relationships, self-esteem, school issues, ADHD, ODD, IED, and autism. She is passionate about guiding a child to advocate for themselves in a manner that works with their personality.

Holly was born in Corpus Christi, raised in Robstown and has lived in both.  She is married and has 1 son who is 18 years old named Connor and 1 fluffy cat named Kiki. In her free time, she enjoys watching & collecting anything Star Wars, spending time with friends and family or enjoying time alone. Holly is currently accepting new clients.
