Angelina Ortiz, MS, LPC-Associate
Angelina M. Ortiz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. Angelina obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University- Kingsville in 2013 and her Master of Sciences in Counseling from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in 2021. Angelina has a counseling philosophy that is rooted in the client-centered approach as she believes each and every person is unique and is an expert in their own personal experiences. She utilizes several modalities to provide psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. She has experience working with adolescents and adults and has recently been training in working with children in play therapy. She has experience working with individuals with anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and life transitions. Angelina believes that each person has the tools to achieve their personal goals and create their preferred future. As a therapist, she could provide education, interventions, and a positive, supportive environment that allows you or your child to talk freely. Angelina’s hope for each session is that a client leaves feeling fully heard, supported, and confident that they have the strength to achieve their goals and reach their full potential while withstanding any stressors that they may face.
