Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. She holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. She specializes in Play Therapy & is EMDR trained. Jennifer is supervised by Julie Thigpen, MA, LPC-S, RPT-S. Jennifer has experience working with children for over 15 years as a Play Therapist, School Counselor, and a Reading Teacher. She received her EMDR Training through CompassionWorks and is working towards certification under the guidance of Dr. Powell, PhD, LPC-S, EMDR Trainer & Consultant.

Jennifer would love to help you or your child on your therapeutic journey. She is passionate about building relationships with her clients and assisting her clients and their families in healing. Jennifer is EMDR trained to assist adults and children alike who are struggling with trauma and PTSD. Jennifer enjoys working with neurodivergent clients and clients on the autism spectrum. She is passionate about helping others find balance & wellness in the therapeutic setting. 

Jennifer was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley and has resided in Corpus Christi for the last 6 years. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, practicing pilates, learning more about animal assisted therapy, and spending time with her family & fur babies. Jennifer is currently accepting new clients of all ages.
